If you've visited a Chick-Fil-A restaurant in the past couple months in Baltimore, MD or Jacksonville, FL, you may have noticed a menu item you won't find any any of their other national chains: the Chick-Fil-A spicy chicken sandwich. I myself had the opportunity to try one of these on a visit to Maryland and it was fantastic. Best fast food spicy chicken sandwich I've had. Once I returned home, I did some googling and found out that Chick-Fil-A is only testing the sandwich at this time. That was a few months ago. Last week I decided to email Chick-Fil-A headquarters and see what was going on. Here is the reponse I received:
"Thank you for taking the time to contact Chick-fil-A. Our customers are very important to us, and we appreciate your interest in seeing a Spicy Chicken Product on the Chick-fil-A menu.
We are currently testing Spicy Chicken Products in several markets. Our test will determine if they belong on our menu nationwide. Rest assured that your feedback will be considered when we make our decision.
Again, thank you for your time and interest in Chick-fil-A. We look forward to serving you in one of your local Chick-fil-A Restaurants soon.

Just The Chicken Sandwich.

So let's hope they decide to keep this and put it on the menu in all their restaurants. I don't know why but it seems like everytime a restaurant gets a menu item I really like, it's discontinued after a month or so (Pizza Hut buffalo chicken pizza, anyone?)
